The Nordqvist tea company
wants to provide its customers a selection of high quality teas, including
Fairtrade certified tea.
Our principle has always been to provide only the finest tea. The
company's values are the same they were 30 years ago when the Nordqvist
family first started to import tea.
We strive to act with integrity in everything we do, and this principle is
reflected in our everyday business.
Although not all our tea comes from Fairtrade-certified farms, we make it
our business to know where and how our tea is produced. Therefore, we
visit the farms every now and then, checking the premises and the workers'
conditions. We also check that the farms' children live in acceptable
circumstances. They must have the opportunity to attend school, for
example.
We also act responsibly here in Finland. We have a long history - 15 years
- of employing disabled persons and integrating them fully into the
workforce. We are a fair company
